My 16 year or Morkie starting showing signs of kidney disfunction approximately 1.5 years ago and his vet recommended I give him once capsule per day as part of our treatment plan to maintain his kidney function. The capsule is too large for my small dog, so I empty the capsule into his homemade wet food and spoon feed it to him, which he doesn't seem to mind.
