HistoDAO™ is a patented enzyme formula containing diamine oxidase (DAO)—the main enzyme responsible for the degradation of ingested histamine. This enzyme has been clinically tested and found to break down food-derived histamine in the digestive tract. DAO is not absorbed and does not have systemic activity. HistDAO does not manage or address antibody-related or IgE-related food allergies.

Recommended dosage Adults: 2 tablets 1 time per day. Take 15 minutes before a meal. Do not chew or break tablets. Swallow whole.
Cautions and warnings Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a gastrointestinal or cardiovascular disease or disorder, bronchial asthma, are taking anti-inflammatory or histamine-releasing medications, or antihistamines. Not suitable for vegetarians (animal source of the enzyme).
