We used to spend a lot more time outside, but for the majority of us, the nature of our modern lifestyles keeps us out of the sun. As a result of this, vitamin D deficiency is extremely common – studies show that 1 in 3 Canadians is deficient, and 2 in 3 have less than the recommended level. Vitamin D deficiency can manifest itself in symptoms like low immune function, fatigue, muscle weakness, mood imbalances and osteoporosis in older adults.

Each softgel contains:
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol, from lanolin) 2500IU (62.5mcg)
Organic virgin coconut oil (yielding 65-75% medium chain triglycerides)*, glycerin, purified water, bovine gelatin. *Organic coconut oil melts between 23 and 27 ̊C. It is normal if the contents of the softgel appear to be solid white or a golden liquid.
Adults - Take one (1) softgel per day with an adequate intake of calcium or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
As with any natural health product, you should consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have kidney disorders. Consult a healthcare practitioner if you take any prescription medications including antacids, anticonvulsants, digoxin, cholestyramine, colestipol, mineral oil, steroids, statins or thiazide diuretics, or if you take other vitamin D supplements, multivitamin supplements containing vitamin D, or products containing vitamin D analogues. 15-20 mcg (600-800 IU) of vitamin D per day is adequate for most individuals. Consult a healthcare practitioner to determine if you would benefit from additional vitamin D before taking this product. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
