ElementAll Biological Diet is an elemental diet formula that provides comprehensive, hypoallergenic, easily digestible stand-alone nutrition for individuals with impaired digestive function. The therapeutic efficacy of elemental diets has partly been attributed to the elimination of all allergens (while providing nutrients requiring minimal digestion). This promotes gastro-intestinal mucosal healing, normalization of intestinal permeability, and improved clinical symptoms among participants with Crohn’s disease (as determined by the lactulose/L-rhamnose permeability ratio). Among those with newly diagnosed Crohn’s disease, complete elemental nutrition induces remission in over 80% of patients, while a “half elemental diet” significantly lowered relapse rates when followed longer term.

Elemental diets target gut microbiota as well as inflammation; in addition to suppressing NF‑κB levels (a critical regulator of inflammation), they significantly lower the population of Bacteroides fragilis, a species linked to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) as well as colorectal cancer. Among individuals with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and abnormal lactulose breath tests (indicative of small intestinal bacterial overgrowth [SIBO]), 85% had normalized breath values, as well as improved symptoms after following an elemental diet. Elemental diets have also led to similar improvement when compared to corticosteroid therapy among rheumatoid arthritis participants, and both immunopathologic and clinical improvement among participants with refractory celiac disease.

Enjoy the product. Good shipping and tracking. Only complaint I would have is that I ordered 5 Chocolate recently and I got delivered 3 Chocolate and 2 Vanilla Coconut. I’m hoping I can tolerate the flavour change.

I'm only ingesting this drink, water and antibiotics for 2 weeks to try to cure IMO. The taste, texture and smell of this drink are all hideous.. I've only been drinking this for one week and I have one more week to go. It is depressing. The upside is that you don't really feel hungry. I want food but I don't feel like I'm starving. I have lost 6 pounds in one week (I didn't want to lose weight!). I am weak and have zero energy to work out. Don't expect to feel great on while drinking this! It seems to be calming my digestive tract though: I don't have heartburn anymore. I do have raging diarrhea every morning like clockwork. Not sure if it's the drink or the antibiotics I'm on. At this point, I am committed to another week of this hell. Would I do it again? NEVER!!!
