Children ages 1-3 - Take 1 drop per day or as directed by a healthcare professional. Children ages 4-8 - Take 2 drops per day or as directed by a healthcare professional. Adolescents ages 9-13 - Take 3 drops per day or as directed by a healthcare professional. Adolescents ages 14-18 - Take 4 drops per day or as directed by a healthcare professional. Adults - Take 5 drops per day or as directed by a healthcare professional. Ages 14 and up - 400 mcg of folate per day is adequate for most women to reduce the risk of neural tube defects.
